The annual challenge, sponsored by Essential Cuisine, is not only the chance for under 25 year old stars to shine, but a opportunity for mentors to develop staff and students through the thrill and intensity of a competition judged by top industry chefs.

The Craft Guild of Chefs is once again seeking out the industry’s best for the Craft Guild of Chefs Awards 2011.
There are now 14 different award categories for which nominations are sought, covering all aspects of the chef profession, from education to pubs and from the cost sector to banqueting. The 15th award is reserved for one special person who the judges think has made an outstanding contribution to the industry as a whole.

Aimed at team leaders, managers and owners, the course makes supervisors aware of their responsibilities to food safety, ensures they are fully versed in food hygiene legislation and how to best communicate the required standards to their team.
