von Essen hotels acquires Llangoed Hall Hotel

von Essen hotels has acquired Llangoed Hall Hotel in Brecon, Powys, Wales.

The 23 bedroom hotel is home to Laura Ashley's restaurant and the Whistler bar and can host all types of events.

There are now 31 properties under the von Essen hotels private collection. The addition of Llangoed Hall represents the next stage of the company's ongoing investment programme which is targeting properties both in the UK and overseas.

Andrew Davis, chairman of von Essen hotels, commented: "I am delighted to have acquired a property with such an individual  history and in such a unique location. The purchase of Llangoed is testament to my ongoing personal commitment to this company and our strategy for continued growth."
