The hotel was originally scheduled to launch in June last year, but the project has been delayed for a number of reasons. Verta will launch at The Vertical Gateway, the London Heliport at Battersea, on 12 September 2010.
The venture, built as part of the 'Bridges Wharf Battersea' development, has already won 'Best International High Rise Architecture Award' at the Daily Mail International property Awards which took place in November 2009.
All day dining of traditional English and modern European dishes will be available in the Patrisey Restaurant. And in summer months, guests can enjoy views of the Thames from the al fresco terrace area.
The opening of Hotel Verta, which comprises 70 bedrooms, including 14 suites, coincides with the regeneration of the Thames riverfront and the hotel is expected to create circa 100 new jobs.
The hotel also hosts the Vertilon bar and lounge, a Spa Verta and conference and meeting facilities including Wi-Fi thoughout, with capacity for up to 200 delegrates.
