'Quids In' at Gourmet Burger Kitchen restaurants

7th January 2011, 8:44am

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (gbk) and 95.8 Capital FM's Help a Capital Child charity are joining forces once again to offer big savings and raise even more funds for London's disadvantaged children.

Diners can simply log on to capitalfm.com/gbk to register and download their voucher, take it to their nearest gbk restaurant where they can buy any burger or main course salad and get a second for just £1. Gbk will donate at least 83p of its quid to the charity Help a Capital Child.

The offer is available at gbk's nationwide until 20th February 2011.

Gbk has already raised a staggering £150,000 and with this year's fundraising campaign, which runs until February 18th, gbk is aiming to raise a further £35,000 for Help a Capital Child.

Capital FM's drive-time presenter and Help a London Child Ambassador, Greg Burns, is backing the campaign: "The gbk charity partnership has already raised over £150,000 for Help a Capital Child, which is an amazing result!

"The gbk offer is a simple way for everyone to get involved in fundraising and make a big difference. Thanks so much to gbk and to everyone who has used the voucher so far – now get downloading, get money off a tasty burger and help disadvantaged kids in London!"

In addition, gbk is offering an incentive to dine out in the New Year. Everyone who downloads a voucher from capitalfm.com/gbk will be in with a chance of winning a 10 day trip of a lifetime for two people to New Zealand, £1,000 spending money and a camper van, courtesy of Pacific Horizon, to explore gbk's homeland.
