Young Chef Young Waiter – open for entries

The Restaurant Association has released this year’s entry forms for the Young Chef Young Waiter competition.

Forms can be downloaded now from www.bha.org.uk/ycyw before the 23 June closing date.

 

The competition is open to all passionate and professional chefs and waiters aged 25 and under.

 

Sponsors include American Express, the Savoy Educational Trust, the CMA, HSBC, Sodexo and Restaurant Magazine, along with new sponsors for this year which are Champagne Besserat de Bellafon, S.Pellegrino and Wild Harvest.

 

Returning as Chair of the chef judges is Bruce Poole of Chez Bruce, and new to the role of Chair of waiter judges is Stephen Mannock of Darlington College, who has been involved in the competition for a number of years.

 

The regional finals will take place on 3rd, 4th, 11th and 16th September, and the national final will be held at Westminster Kingsway College on 30 September, followed by the prestigious awards ceremony at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, London.
