YO! Sushi to open its latest restaurant in Cambridge next week

3rd November 2010, 10:44am

YO! Sushi has secured a key site for its newest restaurant in Cambridge's Petty Cury shopping district.

The food and drink will be delivered to diners via the central conveyor belt and will offer a wide variety of over 80 Japanese inspired items including soups, rice or noodle based dishes, salads, and hot classics like chicken katsu curry, salmon teriyaki or yakisoba noodles.

Robin Rowland, chief executive of YO! Sushi said: "We are delighted to be opening our first restaurant in Cambridge, where the already thriving restaurant community has shown a gap in the market, offering us the unique opportunity to cater for the public demand for sushi within the city.

"Petty Cury is the ideal location for us, positioned in the midst of the city's busiest shopping district and providing diners with the perfect mix of fun, fast and fresh Japanese food and cutting edge restaurant design."

The venture is set to open its doors to the public on 11 November.

Hi Yo! Sushi! I'm really glad you're opening one of your stores in Cambridge! After trying out my first YO sushi in London, I had good memories of it which includes amazing interior design which my mum was blown away by it too. Eg. She kept looking at the waiters walking on the platforms to serve customer their food. She told me the place looked like a platform for catwalks. Other that that, i remember the numerous buttons for flushing in the toilet and also of course, most importantly, the good healthy, food. yumm. I'm looking forward to visiting the opening tomorrow! My friends and I will be there and I was searching on net whether i could get the branch phone number of it so i could make reservation. Please give me a reply before tomorrow! : )
