The restaurant seats 52 guests, consisting of 12 booth seats and 40 stools.
The scheme reflects the brand's iconic black, white and orange Japanese design, incorporating many of the signature components such as signs featuring LED halo illumination and the YO! To Go takeaway fridge for those shoppers looking to just grab and go.
Fresh sushi will be served up to diners via the central conveyor belt. A wide variety of Japanese inspired items will also be served up including soups, rice or noodle based dishes, salads, and hot classics like chicken katsu curry, salmon teriyaki or yakisoba.
The branch will be open from 11.30am to 10pm Monday to Sunday.
Robin Rowland, chief executive of YO! Sushi, said: "We are delighted to be opening our 55th restaurant nationwide and our first restaurant in Solihull, where the thriving restaurant community has shown a clear gap in the market, offering us the unique opportunity to cater for the public demand for sushi.
"Touchwood Shopping Centre provides the ideal location for us as it is one of the West Midland's most visited shopping malls, where we provide shoppers with the perfect mix of fun, fast and fresh Japanese food and cutting edge restaurant design."
