YO! Sushi launches eight new plates exclusively at Selfridges

Japanese restaurant group YO! Sushi is launching eight new dishes exclusively to its Selfridges' London restaurant.

Created with delicacies such as sea urchin and lobster, the new YO! Indulgence menu will be served up on special yellow rimmed plates priced at £6 each.
From the 8th April 2008 diners will be able to try:
  • Uni Gunkan - Sea urchin and wasabi gunkan
  • Hotate & Tobiko Temaki - Diced scallops, orange tobiko, cucumber & shiso leaf hand roll
  • Unagi Yakitori - Grilled eel skewers with a sweet yakitori sauce
  • Izumida & Shiso Tempura - Tilapia and shiso leaf tempura with ponzu sauce
  • Sake & Tobiko Tartare - Salmon, yuzu tobiko and salmon trout roe with a coriander dressing
  • Ama Ebi Sashimi - Sweet shrimp sashimi with shiso leaf and salmon trout roe
  • Hotate Kushi Age - Crispy breaded scallops with wasabi mayo
  • Ise Ebi & Yuzu Gunkan - Lobster, yuzu tobiko and mayonnaise gunkan
Mike Lewis, YO! Sushi's development chef said: "At YO! Sushi we pride ourselves on constantly developing innovative recipes and passionately believe in providing great tasting Japanese inspired food, freshly prepared nutritional food, that doesn't cost the Earth. The new YO! Indulgence menu offers a fast fine dining experience – perfect for Selfridges' shoppers."
 

The restaurant group now operates 51 restaurants in 5 countries.
