YO! Sushi comes to Birmingham

5th October 2010, 12:38pm

YO! Sushi is launching a new venture in Brindleyplace, Birmingham's award winning canal side business and leisure destination, at the end of November.

The restaurant will feature 62 internal and 24 external covers across 1,756 square feet, arranged around YO! Sushi's trademark 'kaiten' conveyor belt.

The food and drink menu will comprise of Japanese inspired items including soups, rice or noodle based dishes, salads, and hot classics like chicken katsu curry, salmon teriyaki or yakisoba noodles – a total of over 80 dishes. Japanese beers and sake will also accompany a selected wine list.

Robin Rowland, chief executive of YO! Sushi said: "We are delighted to be opening our second restaurant in Birmingham which shows the public demand for sushi is increasing and that people truly want dining experience with a difference. Brindleyplace is the perfect location for us and the restaurant promises the perfect mix of fast and fresh Japanese food, vibrant staff and cutting edge restaurant design.

"Following the success of our first Birmingham restaurant in Selfridges, we are excited about welcoming new customers into YO! Sushi and building upon the great reputation that we have already in the city."
