YO! Sushi Soho reopens with refurbishment

16th June 2008, 12:18pm

YO! Sushi has reopened its flagship restaurant in London's Soho after undergoing an extensive refurbishment – and is offering guests 50% off their food bill when dining between 26 and 29 June.

Customers can download their 'Soho Sale' discount voucher from logging onto www.yoysushi.com and simply presenting it at the end of their meal.

Restaurant designers Dryburgh Gillian Associates has redesigned the venue using quirky ceiling lights, an illuminating conveyor belt and internally illuminating Perspex panels to create a more spacious look and feel.

The restaurant also includes a front till desk and feature wall at the back of the eatery incorporating imagery from the local Soho area. An additional siz seats have also been added for busy dining periods.

My Ly, marketing manager for YO! Sushi commented: "This revamp is part of an extensive refurbishment and restaurant opening programme which is rolling out across the UK and internationally. The Soho branch is one of the most popular restaurants with many diners coming through the doors over the last 10 years and we are excited to see the fantastic transformation of our flagship store."

The chain has opened restaurants in Oxford, Eden High Wycombe and St Pancras International this year – bringing their UK total to 33 sites. The group currently has 10 franchised restaurants oversees with partners in Ireland, Russia, Malaysia and the Middle East.

By the end of this year, the restaurant group aims to have a total of 55 restaurants.
