West Cornwall Pasty Co launches savoury breakfast pastries

25th May 2010, 10:48am

West Cornwall Pasty Co has launched a range of savoury breakfast pastries, which are now available across central London.

The morning treats include the 'Breakfast Turnover', made with flaky puff pastry, folded over a rasher of bacon and a pork sausage, with a dash of tomato sauce, topped with grated Davidstow Cornish cheddar cheese.

Accompanying the 'Breakfast Turnover', is the 'Bacon Bite' and also the 'Veggie Breakfast Turnover' - a savoury pastry made with mushrooms, scrambled egg, Cornish cheese and topped with sliced tomatoes, which are suitable for vegetarians.

To coincide with the launch of the new breakfast range, West Cornwall Pasty Co is running a Breakfast Bonanza, offering the savoury pastries, bacon rolls, and Cumberland sausage rolls for just £1 each.

Chief executive Richard Nieto said: "The new breakfast range uses the highest quality ingredients and are full of flavour, providing a really tasty morning treat. So why not kick start the day with something that not only tastes delicious, but is also easy on the pocket!"

The breakfast range is freshly baked every day and is available until 11am.
