Vimto unveils website to help boost sales

8th June 2009, 12:44pm

Vimto Soft Drinks has launched a new website specifically for retailers, featuring competitions, offers and savings across its product portfolio, including Vimto, Sunkist and Panda.

Timed to coincide with the start of Vimto's new £5 miilion 'Seriously Mixed Up Fruit' marketing campaign, the website has gone live in June with a 'Free Case' deal, offering users a voucher they can redeem against a case of 24 x 330ml Vimto fizzy cans.

Retailers registering on the site will also have the opportunity to 'Win A Van' courtesy of Vans 4 Trade Direct, in a competition which runs throughout the year.

The website has been designed to help retailers drive their soft drinks profits and includes merchandising hints and tips, market and consumer purchasing data and product information.

Every retailer that registers on the site will receive a free Vimto point of sale kit, containing shelf strips, wobblers and fridge stickers.

Vimto senior brand manager, Emma Hunt, said: "More and more retailers are doing business online and many of the major wholesale suppliers now communicate with their customers through their own websites. The Vimto Soft Drinks site aims to support retailers with worthwhile offers and market insight to help them successfully drive their soft drinks business in today's tough economic climate.

"It's a fantastic way to reward our customers and keep them up to date with everything we are doing."

Retailers who would like to register should log on www.vimtotrade.co.uk
