Vegetarian restaurant Vanilla Black comes to London

7th April 2008, 4:13pm

Vegetarian restaurant Vanilla Black is set to open its first London eatery, with further plans to expand across the capital.

The 2,500 sq ft restaurant, which first opened in York in 2000, is situated just off Chancery Lane close to the Royal Courts of Justice.

Vanilla Black is renowned for its unconventional approach to vegetarian cuisine and has been listed as one of the top 10 vegetarian eateries in the UK.

The owners have currently closed the original York site to focus on expanding the concept across London.

Property agents Davis Coffer Lyons sold the establishment on behalf of Structadene on a new 25 year lease, with a rent of £60,000.
