V8 Gourmet wins BRC standard for food safety

Restaurant, food delivery and catering group V8 Gourmet Ltd has been awarded the British Retail Consortium's (BRC) Global Standard for Food Safety.

V8 Gourmet has a retail division encompassing restaurant brands Vama, Tiffinbites and The Bombay Bicycle Club, along with a wholesale division with contract catering, airline catering and outdoor event catering. The group will be overseeing expansion plans in the coming year.

Arjun Varma. V8's head of retail division and operations, said: "Gaining the Global Standard for Food Safety is a tremendous achievement for V8 Gourmet."

"We have always set our food safety standards very high and I'm, pleased to say that all our hard work that has gone into making our central kitchen unit a safe and clean environment has been recognised."
