Two more Wetherspoon pubs for Terminal 5

Wetherspoon has opened two new venues at the new multibillion pound Terminal 5 building at Heathrow Airport.

Both The Crown Rivers and the Wetherspoon Express bar, which officially opened last month, are located 'airside' at Terminal 5.

There are now a total of nine Wetherspoon pubs and bars at Heathrow Airport – with a total of 25 across all UK airports.

The pub group has invested £1.35 million in developing the sites and has created a total of 70 new jobs.

The Crown Rivers offers a full menu throughout the day, while Wetherspoon Express serves a selection of sandwiches, paninis, muffins and other snacks.

Managed by Joanne Williams, The Crown Rivers operates table service in some areas of the pub. It has a British theme to its menu, serving fish and chips, bangers and mash, and haggis and Irish stew.

The Wetherpoon Express is managed by Gurwinder Randhawa.
