Tragus Group launches Bella Italia in London

Tragus Group, the casual dining operator, is to open another Bella Italia restaurant in London's West End later this summer.

The group, whose portfolio of brands also include Strada and Cafe Rouge, has taken a lease for 65 Strand, a 5,000 sq ft ground floor unit between Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden.

Tragus operates 83 Bella Italia branches across the UK, 14 of which are located in London

Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL) assigned the lease for the Strand site on behalf of the owner of the lease, Heinz.

Jonathan Moradoff, acting agent at DCL, said: "This site is located on a strip in the heart of Theatre land and benefits from high footfall providing a great opportunity for the Bella Italia brand."
