Traditional Chips now even better!

5th January 2009, 11:28am

They said it couldn't be done but Farm Frites has improved its hugely popular, rustic Traditional Chips, the quality thick cut, golden chip specially developed for UK pubs and restaurants.

Darker and more homemade looking than your average pub chip, the 2009 version is a more premium length, with a deliciously crispier outer structure and fluffier piping hot potato inside as a key part of development.

Fans, which include a host of major national pub chains, will be pleased to know, however, that the much-loved traditional recipe is going nowhere.

Nic said: "Our new improved Traditional Chips for pubs and restaurants looking for a more retro offering is a premium product at market price, with an irregular 'homemade' appearance combined with the convenience of frozen. It crucially also offers consistency for great chips and generous plate coverage every time.

"While the original version was fantastic, after listening to our customers, we realised we could make it even better as part of our mission to create the 'ultimate chip'. We are confident this will be the big chip attraction for pubs looking for that 'homemade' touch in 2009."

Cases of new improved Farm Frites Traditional Chips, which fry in 3.5-4 minutes, contain six 2.5kg bags and will be available nationally.
