Tim Luff embarking on a new venture

Tim Luff embarking on a new venture

Tim Luff joins The Fishes as new head chef

22nd December 2009, 11:01am

Tim Luff, formerly of the Michelin-starred Olive Branch at Clipsham and Harvey Nichols in Leeds has joined the award-winning team at The Fishes at North Hinksey Village in Oxfordshire.

Tim has been cheffing for over nine years, although he first started out behind the bar rather than in the kitchen; his first role after leaving catering college was bar manager at The Olive Branch.

His life took a rather different turn, though, when he realised the kitchen was where he wanted to be. Tim worked his way from the bottom up to the top in the Olive Branch kitchen, helping the pub make it into the Michelin Good Food Guide.

Tim's passion is for traditional English food and cooking with really top-notch seasonal ingredients, local where possible.

"I'm thrilled to be here at The Fishes and looking forward to putting my stamp on the menu and making an already great Oxfordshire pub even better," says Tim.
