The Wine and Spirit Trade Association reveals details of its trade diary app

7th December 2011, 7:00am

The Wine and Spirit Trade Association (WSTA) has announced that its diary for tastings and events in the wine and spirits trade is now available as a free iphone app.

The trade diary lists all the main wine and spirit trade events taking place across the UK, including tastings, seminars, exams and awards.

The app allows users to browse events wherever they are, and to synchronise the events to their smartphone's own calendar with just one click.

It also enables people to add their own event to the diary and view events on a map, based on your location.

WSTA chief executive Jeremy Beadles said:  "I know that many in the trade value our diary as a first stop for information about upcoming tastings and events so hopefully this new app will make life that little bit easier.

"The free app means you can load, save and synchronise diary events on the go - it's an early Christmas present from the WSTA."
