The Savoy Educational Trust launches its annual report

28th January 2010, 10:54am

The Savoy Educational Trust has published its 2008-2009 Annual Report, containing inspirational stories of funding for projects that have supported and improved the skills development of thousands of young people building their careers in hospitality.

In the latest financial year, it has awarded grants worth more than £600,000 to support the advancement and development of education, training and qualifications within the hospitality industry.

Chief executive, Julia Sibley, said: "The Annual Report provides extensive information on the Savoy Educational Trust from how the Trust is run to who can apply for grants. It also provides a detailed overview of the grants awarded and the organisations, associations and individuals that have benefited from them. We hope the report will answer any questions that people have about the Trust and increase awareness amongst those who can apply."
