The Institute of Hospitality to hold its Annual Lunch next week

2nd June 2010, 11:03am

The Institute of Hospitality is holding its Annual Lunch - one of the top networking and social events in the hospitality industry calendar, at the five-star Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London next week (8 June).

The Annual General Meeting (AGM), open to all corporate members, will commence at 11am followed by the pre-lunch reception at 12 noon and the three-course lunch at 1pm.

Alistair Telfer, secretary for the Oxford and Cambridge Club, commented: "Now more than ever it is vital for organisations to take time to meet and network with fellow Hospitality professionals and it is the role of a professional body such as the Institute to provide these opportunities."

Ciaran Fahy, general manager at The Cavendish London and a fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, added: "As a long standing member I believe it is important to support the Institute of Hospitality by attending the events and I bring along some members of my management team to encourage them to join the Association and build their own network.

"It is a great opportunity to meet fellow hoteliers as an Independent Hotelier I do not attend major company conferences and going to  the annual luncheon I meet colleagues and catch up with people and chat about current business and opportunities."

The Hospitality Assured 2010 awards winners will be announced during the course of the afternoon and the Institute of Hospitality has confirmed two new categories. These are the Hospitality Assured Champion of the Year 2010 and Hospitality Assured Team of the Year 2010.

Tickets for the Annual Lunch are priced at £75 per person with a discounted rate of £700 for tables of 10. To book seats at the lunch, visit www.instituteofhospitality.org. Alternatively call Andrew Stewart on 020 8661 4914, or email Andrew.stewart@instituteofhospitality.org
