The Globe Hotel is situated on Theatre Street in the centre of the well regarded county market town of Warwick and had originally traded as a pub since 1788, before it was converted into a hotel around 100 years ago. Although the building is Grade II Listed, it has been extended in the past and now comprises 19 en suite letting bedrooms, a 70-cover restaurant, a separate bar area to accommodate 30, a large conference room and an attractive courtyard with an external seating area.
Tamar McDonough, from Christie + Co's Birmingham Office, who is handling the sale, commented; "The Globe Hotel has been operated by the current owners for approximately seven years. In this time, they have created the first and only Thai-style hotel, but have decided to sell as they wish to pursue other business interests."
An asking price of £1,450,000 is being sought for the freehold interest of the Globe Hotel.
