The Faulkner Bar & Kitchen reopens with facelift

23rd September 2009, 3:24pm

The Faulkner Bar & Kitchen is launching a new menu this weekend to coincide with its new look.

Ian Wade has owned The Faulkner for five years and also runs the Ring O'Bells in Christleton and The Bouverie in Garden Lane.

He commented on the relaunch:  "We are going for a real retro feel with the new refurb, focusing on 'boho chic'.  A selection of reconditioned, new and antique furniture has been used to create the unique style The Faulkner Bar & Kitchen will have. Great surroundings, great food and great hospitality are always important and we've learned this at The Faulkner and at our other pubs all of which are very different.

"We are passionate about what we do and it is sad to hear that 52 pubs close in Britain every week, a third more this year than last. We're working to bite-back this trend and really appreciate all the support from our locals and city-visitors too."

The new menu will include a weekend brunch.
