Winning team: the chefs from Lasan.
Presented by celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, the Channel 4 programme is looking for "…restaurants run by people with a passion for food who deliver great food, great service and a great atmosphere."
Nominations can be made via The F Word website and organisers of the search say that restaurants most be independently owned.
"Our preference is to discover restaurants who have not received the acclaim they may deserve. However we may still consider restaurants who have received major awards, such as Michelin stars or AA Rosettes," said Channel 4.

To start with I'd like to say Gordon Ramsay's program the F Word is fantastic, but i feel a few errors have ocurred. The shooting of the venison before Takbier (slaughter) is wrong. I thought the food presented for the competition was of a very poor standard the samosas were large, greasy and were not closed properly, I'm sure they tasted as bad as the presentation. The main course of sea bass looked overcooked and dry, the tower of saffron potatoes looked cold, underseasoned and gloopy. The sauce resembled dirty, yellow dish water, I thought all this confidence and hype of culinary ability was to know avail. I just wish next time you have a competition I'd like to enter. I find that even though I'm not a profesional my culinary ability and knowledge of food would be greater than Lassan's.
