Taylors of Harrogate takes centre stage at UK’s first coffee festival

5th February 2010, 11:00am

Family business and coffee specialist Taylors of Harrogate is to take centre stage as a key sponsor of the UK’s first coffee festival in Bath on May 15th and 16th.

The business, based in North Yorkshire, is committed to buying the best and trading ethically with coffee farmers around the world.

Kevin Sinfield, brand manager for Taylors of Harrogate, said: "We're very excited about being at the heart of the UK's first coffee festival as headline coffee sponsor. As a business passionate about coffee we're proud to be bringing the Taylors range to showcase at the event. Festival visitors will find we have a coffee to suit for any mood or occasion. "

Festival organiser Linda Donaldson added: "We are very pleased to welcome Taylors of Harrogate as a headline sponsor for the Bath Coffee Festival. The fact that the event is attracting such high profile companies from the industry demonstrates the level of support we have.  People have been waiting a long time for the UK's first coffee festival."

The organisers have pledged that 50% of any profits from the festival will be donated to two charities that specifically benefit the Bath community.

Other companies sponsoring the event include Gold Top Milk, Malmesbury Syrups, Martin Carwardine & Co, Cornish pasty maker Ginsters and Marshfield Bakery.
