TRI Hospitality Consulting wins hotel report award

23rd February 2009, 10:45am

TRI Hospitality Consulting has been named the hotel industry's preferred advisor for the second year running at this year's Hotel Report Awards, which were held last week in London.

The Hotel Report Awards are chosen by the industry itself, with an academy of over 300 sector leaders deciding the shortlist, then the finalists chosen by a wider vote.

TRI overcame strong competition from the other nominees in the category: Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Europe, Cushman & Wakefield, CMS Cameron McKenna and Halliwells.

Katherine Doggrell, editor of Hotel Report, said: "To win one year is commendable, but two years in a row amounts to a ringing endorsement. Voters commented on full profit & loss capability as being a particularly powerful benchmarking tool in the current economic climate."

Commenting on the award Jonathan Langston, managing director, said: "We are delighted to have been recognised once again by the Hotel Report Awards, in particular because the industry clearly values our product, as well as the consultancy advice it underpins. To be voted for by the industry means a great deal and we are fully dedicated to advising the sector through what are undoubtedly challenging times ahead."
