TRG TO TAKE OFF AT HEATHROW

The Restaurant Group, owner of Frankie & Benny's and Garfunkel's, is to run four units at Heathrow's new Terminal 5, when it opens in March 2008.

This will include a full-service restaurant for the departures lounge.

The move reflects company concentration on the airport and out-of-town shopping mall market, shifting from the high street now with just 10 per cent of TRG's business.

And the deal was revealed in the wake of sales figures showing a "healthy" 5 per cent hike, ending with "particularly strong trading" in December.
