Swissotel The Howard, London hotel launches Wimbledon Afternoon Tea

The four star Swissôtel The Howard, London hotel has created an afternoon tea menu to coincide with the upcoming tennis championships.

The tea offers flavoured shortbread biscuits shaped as tennis rackets, tennis balls, centre net and strawberries.

Other treats will include traditional finger sandwiches and home-baked scones, chocolate mint cups, pink champagne jelly, strawberry cream tarts and macaroons. All patisserie items are baked in-house and hand-finished by head chef Brian Spark and his pastry team.

The package is accompanied by a pot of Twinings tea and a jug of Pimm's can be added for an optional extra.

Wimbledon Afternoon Tea is priced at £32 per person with the option of a jug of Pimm's starting from £10 for 0.75l. The package will be served from 1st June - 4th July 2010.
