Sushi 101 has opened its doors in Muswell Hill offering Japanese food with a new distinctive menu.

European restaurateur Marina D'Ischia aims to provide affordable, well presented fresh sushi to North London.

Ex-Nobu and Yo! Sushi chef Jimmy Nakamura has created a range of signature dishes including Grilled Baby Lamb Cutlets with Sweet Miso Paste and Stuffed Courgette Flower Tempura with prawns.

The more unusual dishes include Avocado, Mascarpone and Smoked Salmon; Goat's Cheese and Mixed Peppers; Mango Tempura and Crabmeat. Desserts include Mango Tempura with Green Tea Ice-Cream and Dark Chocolate Sauce and Lemongrass Crème Brulet.

The establishment has been designed by D'Ischia with maroon, black and chrome colours, cream leather seats and a tropical fish tank.
