As a result of the Farnborough Airshow, occupancy jumped 2.0% on the same period last year from 86.5% to 88.3%.
Room rate also soared by 15.6%, up from £140.38 to £162.33, along with the overall rooms yield which hiked by 18.0%, from £121.45 to £143.26.
In the regions, occupancy dipped slightly from 77.2% last year to 75.9% this year. However room rate increased 2.4% from £75.18 to £77.00. Overall, rooms yield was up 0.6% on 2007.
