St James's Hotel and Club celebrates Movember

5th August 2009, 11:45am

St James's Hotel and Club is offering an incentive for men across the country to participate in Movember this year to raise awareness of men's health issues such as prostate cancer.

Movember (the month formerly known as November), is a charity event held during November each year. At the start of Movember, men register with a clean shaven face.

Known as "Mo Bros" they then have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their moustache and along the way raise as much money and awareness about male health issues.

To show their support, St James's is inviting all Mo Bros to visit the hotel's bar to enjoy its "Gro-a-Mo" cocktail.

Designed especially for the occasion by head mixologist, Joel Lawrence, "Gro-a-Mo" consists of vodka, limoncello, gran marnier, chambord and pineapple juice. The cocktail has a frothy top which is sure to enhance those newly grown tashes.

On purchase of this cocktail, priced at £12 and with £2 of each cocktail going to the Prostate Cancer Charity, all Mo Bros will receive a voucher offering a complimentary moustache trim, to be redeemed throughout the month of November at Truefitt & Hill, barber shop.

St James's is also offering a special overnight rate. With £10 of the rate going to the Prostate Cancer Charity, Mo Bros (Moustaches essential!) can enjoy a stay and full English breakfast plus complimentary "Gro-a-Mo" cocktail from only £215.00 per room per night.
