The annual Charity Polo Day featured the final of the Sidebottom Cup. Prior to the match, guests were given a polo demonstration. Guests were then treated to a lunch including confit of Loch Duart salmon and a delicious bitter chocolate mousse layered with feuilletine.
Sarah Frost, special events manager, Beaufort Polo Club, said: "We are so pleased to welcome Hospitality Action back to Beaufort for the charity's second polo day. The excitement of the match and the exceptional menu, not the mention the money raised, will make this a day to remember!"
Penny Moore, chief executive, Hospitality Action, added: "The day has been a fantastic success both on and off the pitch! My thanks goes to headline sponsor BaxterStorey for their valued support. With the number of grants administered up 14% compared to this time last year the £30,000 raised will go a long way towards assisting those that have worked, or are working in our industry and who are facing difficult times."
Attendees included Richard Ball of Calcot Manor, Peter Egli of Whatley Manor and Sue Williams of The Bath Priory.
