The one-off, sell-out event saw the chef serve a four-course dinner including Daube of Lake District beef and a prune and almond tart. The event raised a staggering £11,000.
Roux Jr said: "Hospitality employees will be stretched over the coming months as they work harder and longer hours to ensure their guests enjoy the festive season. Both my father and uncle are Patrons of Hospitality Action and I am thrilled to continue the tradition of supporting the charity's essential work."
Penny Moore, chief executive, Hospitality Action added: "At this time of year more than ever we need to remember those in need in our industry. We're delighted that Michel offered to support the charity in this way and help demonstrate the hardships our industry faces at this time of year. The £11,000 raised will help provide an essential lifeline to those who find themselves in crisis this Christmas."
With Christmas just around the corner, the charity is currently holding its annual Christmas online auction. The auction closes on Friday 2nd December at 2pm. To bid on the auction visit www.hospitalityactionauction.org.uk.
