Todiwala stands proud with Dr Zenobia Nadirshaw of London Metropolitan University
During its annual graduation ceremonies on December 2, the university presented the executive chef and owner of the award-winning restaurant Café Spice Namasté with his award.
Head of the London Metropolitan University Business School, Bob Morgan, said: "It gives great pleasure to award this degree to Cyrus Todiwala in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the international hospitality and catering industry and his support for providing training and development opportunities for young people and adults."
Todiwala said he was deeply honoured to receive the degree. "Education is perhaps one of the most valuable assets we can have in our lifetime, and once we have it, no one can take it away from us. That goes for both academic and vocational education, which must have equal esteem."
