Recruitment drive at Prezzo after it purchases Caffe Uno chain restaurants

High street restaurant chain Prezzo is seeking for 250 new staff members after making another purchase of restaurants from the Caffe Uno chain.

The restaurant has announced plans to open 20 new Prezzo-branded establishments during the course of 2011, and will need between 10 and 12 new staff at each location, amounting to around 250 new jobs.

A company spokesman said: "If we are taking people from other restaurants we will have to recruit new people. We don't have big recruitment days – recruitment is ongoing."

The jobs are likely to be spread throughout a range of locations across the whole of the UK, with a number of new branches opening up in Scotland, as well as the development of several additional outlets in Manchester and the south east of England.
