Ramada Jarvis Hotels chooses DBC Foodservice for delivery

20th November 2009, 11:54am

Ramada Jarvis Hotels has selected DBC Foodservice to deliver its chilled product range across its UK network of 43 hotels. Initially a two-year deal, the contract will be operated by eight of DBC’s branches.

Head of new business at DBC, Steve Jones, explained more about the deal: "Ramada Jarvis Hotels required a nationwide solution to deliver over 100 product lines to their network of hotels.

"They specifically wanted to use EDI to place their orders on-line through iTradeNetwork, their chosen provider – which we were delighted to integrate into our solution. Our IT capabilities allow us the flexibility to tailor our service to meet specific customer requirements."

Debbie Walter, purchasing director at Ramada Jarvis Hotels confirmed: "DBC offered a very competitive solution, they demonstrated an honest and open approach to discussions and were able to accommodate our preferred method of ordering.

"The solution they offered met our needs perfectly, with their flexibility being a key quality in our selection process."
