Punch rewards best pub managers

The Punch Pub Company has rewarded its top 10 pub managers at an awards dinner in the Hotel Du Vin, Birmingham, in recognition of their excellent trading performance.

The Best Awards are given to selected general managers across Punch Pub Company's 835 strong managed pub estate and recognise great performance from managers who deliver profit against budget and continually deliver a great guest experience.

The winners are:

Glen Simmons at the Rockingham Arms, Rotherham
David McMillan at the Shakespeare, Edinburgh 
Nigel Corcoran at the Hoop & Toy, London 
Ged Devlin at the Beehive Inn, Edinburgh 
Dritan Qosja at the Stanhope, London 
Lisa Bridewell at the Green Man, Harlow 
Tim George at the Harbour Lights, Bournemouth
Alicja Warcop at the Swan, London 
Ewelina Zertka at the Sussex, London 
Jen Taylor at the Queens, Liverpool

Richard Carter, operations director for Punch, commented: "It was an honour to spend the evening in the company of these amazing managers. Best awards recognise and reward the true stars in our business. We are dedicated to our people and want to ensure their hard work, commitment and skills are celebrated and that they know how much we appreciate all they do."
