Punch Partners participating in the Winter Incentive Scheme, running from mid December until 6 March 2010, can achieve up to £100 for every extra barrel they sell on all draught and packaged beer and cider.
Participating pubs are set a beer and cider target for the 12 week period, based on historical performance and recent trends. For every barrel of beer and cider they deliver over the target during the incentive period, Punch will credit their trade account with up to £100 per barrel as a reward payment.
Partners can monitor their performance against their target when they log their telephone order or by logging onto 'Your Place' – the dedicated area of the Punch Taverns' website for existing partners.
Operations director Kevin Georgel said: "Trading remains challenging in the on-trade and we recognise that it is an extremely difficult time for many of our partners. However, some are bucking this trend, and we want to recognise and reward that as well as incentivise others to utilise the support available to them to drive their businesses."
In addition to the beer incentive, Punch Partnerships has produced a range of tools to help partners grow sales. A 'Driving Sales' section has been added to Your Place which contains ideas for partners on topics including how to improve their food offer, tips for increasing customer loyalty through to marketing ideas, and a section with ideas from other partners who talk about what's working for them.
