The 65 strong pub company promises to donate 10p from every bottle of Smirnoff Ice and Smirnoff and mixer drink sold during the two days.
In addition managers and staff from the high street pubs are promising to set up their own fundraising campaigns in the pubs to support the donation.
Claire Murray from Yates's said: "When we asked our managers and staff what charity they and their customers would like to support this year The Royal British Legion came out top, largely because its heritage and what it stands for is a foremost concern for our customers."
This initiative is part of a wider campaign conducted by The Royal British Legion this year. The charity is launching a new fundraising initiative for the 2010 Poppy Appeal…March For Honour, which sees four teams, from across the Armed Forces march a combined total of just under 1,000 miles to honour the fallen and also to support the rehabilitation of today's injured service personnel.
She added: "A lot of our customers want to show their support for the armed forces and their families and what better way than to celebrate their work and bravery with a party in their honour.
"The March for Honour will be an impressive, emotionally charged and visual display of the nations feelings towards our servicemen and women and the RBL's aim to get the two-minute silence to number one is just the sort of campaign Yates's customers love."
