New snacks include breaded mushrooms with mayonnaise, breaded butterfly king prawns with sweet chilli dip and the ultimate snack for the big screen sporting fan – bbq chicken wings available in volumes of 10, 20 and even 50.
Customisation, giving choice to the customer in the way food is delivered, has also been a big theme for the new menu. In particular, Yates's food team have spent time creating new fresh salad options. With five different protein toppings from Asian chicken to grilled salmon and six new dressings customers can create the salad of their choice.
Meanwhile its burger range has been "glammed up" with the introduction of a new Philly steak burger, a peppered burger and a Mexican burger.
And additions to its curry range include Thai green chicken, lamb kofta, chicken satay and a host of new side dishes.
Delivering classics but with a twist has been another customer feedback theme so the challenge was to create summery desserts that were light and creamy, classic, yet, oh so, unique. So the team came up with the jammie dodger cheesecake, a combination of one of the nation's favourite puddings with the ultimate retro biscuit.
Michele Mawhinney, development chef for Yates's, said: "By working closely with our chefs, managers and suppliers to identify what we believe our customers want we have delivered some new exciting changes to Yates's menu.
"We kept our most popular core dishes, maintained with loyalty the menu sections and killer deals our customers love but have introduced some new dishes, unique to Yates's which we hope will keep our customers coming back for more!"
