This acquisition forms part of an expansion plan to grow the concept – the first to bring Vietnamese food to the mainstream in the UK - to 15 sites in the next five years.
Acting for the brand, leisure property agent Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL) has secured the former Italian Graffiti on Wardour Street, a small ground floor and basement restaurant, for an undisclosed sum.
The restaurants, which specialise in Vietnam's national dish Pho, a low fat rice-noodle soup, are located in three sites in London (Clerkenwell, Fitzrovia and Westfield shopping centre) and in Brighton which opened last month.
Italian Grafitti was a successful family run Italian restaurant established since 1987.
Rob Meadows of DCL, said: "This site is in a key street in one of London's principle entertainment districts. We're seeing extreme demand for the Soho area, particularly for Wardour Street with notable recent openings including, Busaba, Cote and Princi. Operators who trade there generally do well and want to stay, and sites that come on the market are few and far between.
"We secured this site for Pho in an off-market acquisition, illustrating that there is still the opportunity for well funded operators with strong concepts to secure desirable and seemingly unattainable sites."
