Priory Inn wins at Food and Drink awards

The Priory Inn at Tetbury in the heart of the Cotswolds has been crowned 'Most Distinctive Local Menu' at this year's Cotswold Life Food and Drink Awards for the second year in a row.

The Cotswold Life Food and Drink Awards were announced at the Beaufort Polo Club last week and they are awarded to companies who have received the most nominations from the general public and judged by an independent panel.

The Priory Inn was awarded three prestigious industry awards last year from the Harden's Guide, Cotswold Life and Taste of the West.

Dave Kelly, Director and co-owner of gastro-inn said: "Since we first won this award last year, we have struck up some new and very exciting relationships with local suppliers and producers, boosting our menus and adding interest to the choice of local beer, wine and other drinks at the bar. Our dream was always to offer excellent local, seasonal and affordable food and drink in the right environment to draw people from miles around."

The Priory Inn has a coffee bar, pizza takeaway, 14 bedrooms for guests to stay in and a 70-cover restaurant.
