The Ethical Good Food Awards are instituted by Customer Associations to promote better business ethics, excellence in service, and recognise small independent restaurants and food retailers.
Awards organiser Steve Harrison commented on the win: "We also recognise personalities within these categories and aim to recognise and inspire local food businesses and also to encourage their ethical conduct."
The award was presented by Faversham Mayor, Ted Wilcox at the sell out music tribute night hosted by Prince of India in the town's Alexander Centre.
The Prince of India, owned by Raj Abdin, has also been short-listed in two categories in the Kent Restaurant Awards (Best Indian Restaurant and Best Take Away), being held at Ashford International Hotel on 28th January.
