Platform 1 hotel up for sale after falling into administration

Acting on behalf of Adrian Allen and Alec Pillmoor of Baker Tilly, Joint Administrators of DMQA (Holdings) Limited, Christie + Co is marketing the freehold interest of Platform 1.

The Hull-based hotel and restaurant, which has a guide price of £1 million, is situated just east of the city centre, features 32 en-suite bedrooms, an awarding-winning restaurant, a bar, a recently added bridal suite, and a 250-capacity banqueting suite.

Sean Ludden, director at Christie + Co Leeds office, said: "This is a perfect opportunity for a national chain or regional operator to acquire a well-located, established business, which can boast an award-winning food offer.

"The hotel also has established itself as the leading wedding venue for the Hull area and hosted 75 weddings in 2008. We expect Platform 1 to generate a high-level of interest from a wide range of parties."
