The awards were held at the Langham Hotel and are now in their 16th year.
Over 69,000 votes were cast by parents during the nomination period, which ran throughout January and February 2011. Votes were cast in a wide variety of categories, ranging from Best Family Supermarket to Best Maternity Wear to Most Eco-friendly family brand.
Chris Tebben, chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut, spoke about the win: "We'd like to thank everyone who voted for us to win the 'best family restaurant' award. Our popular Kids Eat Free offer provides great value for parents, all day, everyday, and we're also getting kids on their way to five-a-day by offering a free salad with every kids meal.
"Our team members are passionate about ensuring that mums and young children have the best possible experience when visiting our restaurants, so this award is testament to their great work."
