Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London appoints Conference & Banqueting Director

Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London today announced that David Gibbons has joined the hotel as Conference & Banqueting Director.

He will be responsible for developing new business and will oversee banqueting sales and planning staff when the hotel opens early next year.

David was previously Director of Conference and Banqueting at the London Hilton on Park Lane. He has held various conference, banqueting and event management positions for more than 20 years.

Andrew Swindells, general manager, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London, said: "With a 1,200 square-metre ballroom and 31 additional meeting rooms, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge will be one of London's largest and most flexible meetings and events venues. David's expertise will help ensure that we not only provide our guests with spectacular meeting space, but provide outstanding support for conference and event organisers."

Set to open in early 2010, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London is situated on London's South Bank.
