Pétrus to open in Belgravia

4th June 2009, 12:50pm

Gordon Ramsay’s Pétrus, set to open later this year, will be located in London’s Belgravia according to the Harden’s website.

It revealed: "There's been a lot of speculation about the location of 'new' Pétrus. Everyone knows that the new Gordon Ramsay restaurant is planned for some time later this year, but – until now – no one has known exactly where. Well, Harden's can now reveal that the new premises will be at 1 Kinnerton Street SW1, by the junction with Motcomb Street."

Harden's adds that the new site look like "… a couple of standard shop units, albeit in a swanky new-build development with the sort of specification you'd expect in the heart of Belgravia."

Pétrus was formerly the restaurant at the Berkeley Hotel until a dispute between Ramsay and head chef at the time Marcus Wareing resulted in the restaurant being sold to Wareing and then subsequently renamed as Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley.
