Over 250 Punch pubs make CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide 2012

The Punch Taverns pub group is celebrating after 257 of its establishments appeared in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2012.

The Punch pubs, including the Unicorn Inn in Newton Solney, are in the guide of 4,500 UK pubs serving the best real ale, voted for by over 130,000 CAMRA members. 

Stephen Martin, marketing manager at Punch, said: "It's a fantastic achievement for our licensees. At Punch we feel that quality cask ale is one of the most important elements of creating a fantastic pub and we are constantly looking at ways to introduce more breweries and more cask ales to our licensees.

"This year an amazing 257 Punch pubs, with 75 new entries, are in the Good Beer Guide and we want that number to grow, through membership of our Finest Cask scheme, partnerships with Cask Marque and support for the hundreds of beer festivals run by our licensees."
