Orchid says 'cheers' to high flying pub managers

11th November 2008, 10:17am

Orchid Group's pub managers are hoping that in a few months' time they will be sipping a celebratory drink at Boston's legendary 'Cheers' bar, after the company announced a new December sales incentive.

Orchid CEO, Rufus Hall, plans to take up to 30 of the top performing managers throughout the Group's estate on an all expenses paid, VIP trip to Boston, Massachusetts as a way of saying 'thank you' for generating the highest sales and to reward them for their hard work and commitment.

Each winning manager and guest will be treated to a luxury, 'once in a lifetime' weekend excursion to the birthplace of the American revolution, home of the 'Boston Tea party' and the Boston Red Sox plus the famous 'Cheers' bar.

Rufus Hall explains: "The clear message we want to get across to our highly valued managers is that when times are tough, we will still reward those who work hard, show grit and determination and go that extra mile to generate sales and boost profits. Our managers are the very best in the business and we want to continue to inspire and motivate them with a world-class incentive that rewards their incredible achievements.

"The Boston sales incentive is our way of thanking our top performing managers for their sterling efforts in helping the Group achieve its commercial targets and for keeping Orchid at the forefront of the pub sector."

The Manager's sales incentive will run from 1st December to 31st December inclusively.

The top three sales performers in each of the Orchid Group's four divisions will win the all expenses paid trip to Boston, Massachusetts, taking place in March 2009.
