Orchid changes its line up of spirits at its bars

24th May 2010, 10:23am

Orchid has announced a brand new line up of spirits on the back bar of its 292 pubs, clubs and restaurants.

This new pouring deal, which encompasses all of the major spirits categories, sees Russian Standard vodka line up alongside Beefeater gin and The Famous Grouse whisky in a bold move to re-invigorate the spirits category.

The new selection reinforces Orchid's position on increasing quality, as these more premium products will sit well across all of Orchid's different market segments whilst providing better value for money for customers. It also strengthens Orchid's relationships with more diverse suppliers and being less reliant on one big brand holder.

Arnaud Unvois, purchasing director for Orchid said: "These premium brands sit very comfortably alongside the other quality brands in our drinks portfolio. The brand holders were equally keen to work with us across the various different on-trade segments in which Orchid operates."

Other brands new listed by Orchid include Lamb's Navy Rum, Isolabella Sambucca, Sailor Jerry spiced rum and Balvennie Double Wood single malt whisky.
